Although the Card Kit of the Month has many elements, I decided to challenge myself and focus on one die template. What can you do with one die? This is what I came up with…an ensemble of three cards.
Idea 1: Create a background with die cuts. I die-cut a piece of patterned paper with the die template, enough to cover the entire card front except leave one for the sentiment. Adhere. Trim off excess.
The one die cut was in pink cardstock. Stamp a sentiment. Place fabric tape across the card front and adhere the stamped die cut with 3D Foam Squares for dimension.
Thread twine through the button and tie a knot. Use adhesive dot to adhere on the left side of stamped sentiment.

Idea 2: Emboss your card front with die template. I used the embossing sandwich of my manual die cutting machine to achieve this. Note: secure your die template with re-positionable tape (aka washi tape) and embossed across three times.
I adhered my ribbon across the bottom with my choice of adhesives, Dodz Adhesive Dots Medium. Note there are adhesive dots in the kits.
Stamp my sentiment in one of the embossed shapes. Then add my embellishments on the ribbon.

Idea #3: Embellish with your die cut. Use your die cut to frame out a focal point on your card front. First I covered the card front with fabric tape to make it the background.
With a piece of 2.25 x 5.50 inch pink cardstock, cut a fish tail on one end. Die cut a piece of pink cardstock.
These are the pieces that will adhered to the card front, using tape runner and adhersive dots.
