Create a spooky decorative frame using dies from the Makers Mart Die Of The Month September kit. Its an easy to make project and won’t take you more than 30 minutes to make.
Pick patterned paper with a print that would work great for your project. I went with black and gray design.
Add a layer of adhesive to black cardstock and die cut the tree out with adhesive facing up. Remove adhesive and add black flower soft. This will add texture and interest to your die cut. If you don’t have flower soft or something similar you can just die cut it out of plain black cardstock or look for specialty paper with various finishes.
Adhere tree onto the background using black foam tape so that a few of the branches go outside the frame.
Die cut spider webs out of black craft foam and adhere onto the background. I didn’t have black foam, so I die cut mine out of brown and used a black permanent marker to change the color from brown to black .
Die cut several bats out of black cardstock and foam mount using black foam adhesive.
Embellish you frame with black plastic spiders and silver sequins and enjoy!
