Do you have a celebration coming up? I created a SWEET ensemble just for the occasion! By using the Tote Shaped Treat Box Set, I made this fun three piece set 🙂
First, I cut/embossed the Box Die twice to assemble my treat box. The score lines will show more when embossed. Fold on the score lines. Apply E-Z Runner® Ultra Refillable Dispenser on the side tabs and put the two die cuts together to create your box base.
I stenciled through the die after embossing the flower with yellow ink. Repeat one more time to create two blossoms to layer one on top of the other with 3D Foam Squares – White, Small for dimension. Add glitter in its center and let dry.
Next I applied Adhesive Sheets 4 x 6″ to the back of my green cardstock and die-cut/emboss lots of vines with my Spellbinders® Platinum™ Die Cutting and Embossing Machine – 8.5″ Platform. You can’t have enough – perfect accent design for your projects 🙂
This is how the box front looks after assembling the die cuts…LOVE how it turned out!! I used this as a place card holder by using a memo pin to hold the tag that I die-cut in the set (used Dodz Adhesive Dots Medium on the bottom tip to hold in place). Wrote my friend’s name on it, added a dot of yellow glitter sparkle and put some yummy candy inside – double duty 🙂
I noticed I had a row of negative leaf cuts on the green cardstock so I cut straight down to make a napkin ring! I repeated the same process on making the flowers…
For the napkin, I die-cut the heart with white cardstock, applied gesso, let dry and then stacked two 3D Foam Squares – White, Small on the back. I used it as a stamp to decorate the napkin (note: this is used for display). Thought it was a cute touch 🙂 Tip: use foam to die cut a stamp (I didn’t have one in my stash so I made due).
With the scraps left from the other two projects, I used them for the “SWEET” words and banner to create a cupcake topper! The edges were inked for a subtle finish. The “S” is missing so I had to recreate that one but you get the idea! LOL!
Using my Tool ‘n One™ and its piecing tip, I poked a hole on each corner of the banner and threaded twine through to connect.
Trim a couple of skewer sticks to size, ink the top with pink in, wrap with Dodz Adhesives Dots Medium and wrap the banner twine around…and of course, add a yummy cupcake! HA!
Put it all together and you have yourself a sweet ensemble! Perfect for a girl’s sweet 16, ladies’ afternoon tea, bridal shower…lots of gatherings!
